I love your question don't take is down! People are dumb. There's scary cuz they have an, IN YOUR FACE ATTITUDE. Not to say that all of them do. More or less thats why they can be scary.

Because people are afraid of what they do not understand and what is different. Gay people and black people are just that, people. There's weird people, and indian people, and pagan people, but in all, deep down, we are human, each and everyone one of us.
Stereotypes passed down and spread around promote fear and prejudice.

because they are 'different' and don't fit in with 'normal' people, or so people would make you believe. But what is 'normal' - all, black/white, gay/straight, male/female, are made up of the same composition - skin, hair, organs, blood, etc. Don't hate, but relate.
