I think you should give it a try. After you have been together for a while, maybe you will become attracted to him physically.

I dont know, if you arent attracted to him physically then is there really any point in starting something with him?
I guess the best thing you can do is give it a go and see where it leads you, on the otherhand do you want to ruin a friendship that is great the way it is?
Sorry im probably not the best person to ask, i have a similair situation, that prevents me from doing anything with a friend of mine, where we have great chemistry......good luck let me know how things go for you.

Physical attraction is HUGE in a relationship, if you're missing the "lust" aspect with him then you are never going to think of him as more than a best friend. Try not hanging out with him for a while and see if you miss him, if you do the next time you see him you might find him to be a lot better looking!

well you have to consider your feelings as well as his if your good friends with him then maybe you should keep it that way, cuz your probably more scared that if you do get together you might loose him and that might make your friendship a little awkward, you follow your heart and listen to your mind if you not attracted to him then tell him dont leave him hanging, cuz thats just going to make him want you more. just be straight up and honest with him, never hurts to know the truth, and who knows maybe if and when you do get attracted to him, you may just change your mind about him, looks arent everything but its good to be attracted to him physically and emotionally.

well, i would say that you should never do anything that you do not want to do, yes maybe he is a good guy, but maybe he is just not your guy, and do not worry about you mother and sister, they will get over it, no he will not be your friend at first cause he wants something, but give him time and he will come around realizing that he can not have you in that way and (i hope) come to terms with just settling for being your friend.

I say give him a chance but not if it will ruin your friendship. His looks may grow on you after a while of realizing how loving he is. Being treated right can bring out a whole new look for him. Good luck!
