I wonder why you want CBT?

It can help a lot of people, but it sounds as if you might need something a bit more intensive...

But seriously - tell your GP that someone you know who is a psychologist recommended it for you (that's me)

Say that you have negative thoughts.

You can't get rid of the negative thoughts in your mind.

Of course, you can start by just asking politely for CBT.

If you still can't get CBT, there are lots of books on it which are very good - try library, Amazon.com, or good book shop.

Good luck.

.

Do you have a reason to specifically want CBT ?,
my suggestion is that you go and see your GP, or
if you are uncomfortable with them ask to see another
in the practice if possible, talk to them of your concerns,
include, if you know, why you rejected the last suggestions
of your receiving some form of help, it may b that there is a
better / more suitable way for you to address the issues you
appear to have.

Hope that helps a little mail me if you wish and Good Luck
in finding the appropriate support ... :-) ...

How do your parents feel about it? And how did your GP get the info without parents permission? Maybe you should consider listening a little, can't hurt and maybe you can prove them wrong through testing:-)
