Is there such a thing as luck, fate or destiny?

I believe in destiny, and fate. not luck though. There are sometimes when a friend of mine and me, do so many things alike, and i mean even roll a dice the same four five six times in a row. luck? or is luck the outcome of destiny that people just deny. Like its said in the matrix neo doesn't like the idea of someone else controlling his fate his life. Well people might be scared of destiny and their fate and want to be in control, because loss of control is a big fear in anyones world. But i do believe new destinys and fates are written everyday. i believe certain things are meant to happen in accordance to things that have happend and that everybodys destiny is intwined with alot of other people. Humans destiny is not to die by the way, it is to find a form of immortality. through work, engravement in the history of mankind, or simply though living forever.
Getting lucky or lucky charms? no sorry i don't buy into it.
Having 'luck' (certain good or bad things happening) because that is what was meant to happen then yes then i believe in luck.
Besides i know my fate and destiny already, have my heart broken soon by my current girlfriend. having a friend go out with her and then most likely suicide for me, if not then I'll move on and be happy...which one isit?....only the fates can tell..........
oh and karma does exist SERIOUSLY theres no denying it after what I've seen.

No, what people call "luck" is just when you do something good, it might take sometime, but, you will get something good in return because Jesus sees that love you shared and feels a joy and wants to let you recieve. Now with fate, fate is real, everything happens for a reason. Destiny, im not too sure, there is a thing called destiny but you can also change destiny.

Luck plays an important part in life.Luck gives big results for small effort.It is Good Luck.You can to certain extent over come lack of luck by hard work.Fate and destiny is more or less the same,we do not have much control over fate or destiny.

To believe in luck is stupidity for there is nothing called luck.
Fate or destiny -- these are things we bring in alongwith us when we are born. We write our make our lives by writing on the blackboard of time with these chalks called fate and destiny. When the blackboard gets full and the writing ends, what gets written on it determines where we head for - hell or heaven. This is also called the Karma Theory as believed in the Hindu Mythology. Fate or destiny also may be linked to our mission in this life -- what we have come for and accomplish during our this lifetime before we depart from the World.

Luck is just that.. luck. It happens randomly. As for fate and destiny, I believe we are all in control somehow by the course of our everyday actions. I'm not a religious nut or anything like that, but I do believe we were all born with the gift of "free will" meaning we are able to make our own choices,.Therefore everyday we change the course of our destiny by our choices. YES & NO! What i mean is that people make there own luck.Like helping some 1 that needs it any 1 just not friends or famiy.Now the destiny i do belive in,because right now my life is on the rihgt path 4 1 in my (33yrs).I'll be going 2 school &i have 2 of my 3 kids & i still have my soul mate in my life that is my destiny. So yes it can happen u just have 2 wait.

of course there is. you experience it/them everyday! We all do, even if we don't believe it is what it is ,or think it's just a coincidence or what not. but, as i said, there is such a thing as luck, fate and/or destiny.

It doesn't really matter if we believe it or not. it usually just goes on happening anyway, even if we don't think it does. so why worry about it. Just go on living and make the best out of it.

I believe that the term "Fate" as we use it is very misleading. The Fates of Mythology never really dictated the terms of what person did with their lives, only really how long that life was. As to the way we use it, do you really think that god or whatever may be sits there and says when we are born, "Okay, this is what you are going to do every second of your entire life. You cannot change this, and you have no say in it. I may be an all powerful omniscient being, but I have nothing better to do than to decide what each person life is going to be like." I think that if there is any plan for us, it would probably be more like guidelines. An idea of how out our life's could work out to good purpose.

Well, for all i know. theres destiny. I dont believe in selective luck. We r all endowed. You may not like yours or make good use of it as destined. We can all lift up a leg at the expense of the other, but not the two at a time. The lifted is the luck we all have- as the special sperm out of millions. The other leg holding us up is the destiny or fate that we cannot do nothing about.
Its in us all. Search for yours and learn to love it.

I think it was fate that i read your question and i was lucky enough to have time to answer and i believe it was my destiny to help you.

Believe in what makes you happy, I believe in fate and thus what will be will be, some of it is bad and some is good. Think about if you crashed your car as i have, it was really annoying no injuries but if i hadn't of crashed then would i have crashed later? Also look at how many times things almost happen. There is a reason for it all but dont let it rule your life
