Curing amnesia doesn't mean remembering what you forgot because of it?
Or...what do you understand by curing amnesia?

You would still remember the period when you had amnesia, as those memories wouldn't be erased.
You'd remember everything up to the day you woke up not knowing anything and everything from the point on, if that makes sense.

no, it wouuld be as if there was a block in your memory, as if you slept the whole time and didn't remeber the dream. My teachers step son was knock out after his collage graduation by a drunk and suffered brain damge. He suffered amnesisa, and to this day can't remeber what happened, he only knows what he has been told.
