i have no fear, not even death. i used to fear it, but i just thought when your time comes, your time comes, there is no way to avoid death no matter what you do. just live your life to its fullest, hope you die painlessly, and hope you die a happy person. be thankful for what you got, it could be a lot worse. you could be suffering pain most of your life with all your friends and family dead.

One of my biggest fears is that I will somehow fail my kids as a parent and they wont lead productive lives. I just want them to be successful (like every mom) and it would break my heart if they wasted their raising and their intelligence and became drug addicts or quit school or something. I try to overcome it by being the best parent I can be......and raising my kids to be independant, loving, intelligent people. I admire any parent who has overcome these obstacles with their children....honestly.....being a GOOD parent is hard work.

Any event that catches a person UNAWARES is the deepest fear. All searches, researches, explorations, inquiries, philosophies, intellectual debates, astrology /astonomy studies, memory enhancing techniques, ............ all these are to make events as nearly as possible fore-see-able (death, the most common of all fears, included) !
Yes, this fear is overcome by pursuing the spiritual path !

I am in the autumn of my life and oddly enough my biggest fear has always been not to have money enough to pay necessities. I just have a fear of being on the streets. Always had it. The fear resulted in being a wreck about something I can't control anyway. I wish I could let it go.

How the mistakes I make during my life time will effect my after death experience. No body is perfect, we all judge, laugh, and treat others in ways I am sure is not acceptable to the ultimate judger. I am so afraid that what I do now will determine my fate later and that is my biggest fear of all.

Failure, on most levels. I don't really mean like on school marks or anything but I suppose in life in general. I'm afraid of not living the way I want to live.
