I am going to sell my desktop PC because I have been travelling a lot, and need something more portable. I am a student so am on a tight budget (around $400). I need a laptop that is good for music, video, etc (multimedia). Anyone have an idea on where I can get a good laptop for cheap? I'm in Canada, so I want to find something under $475 with shipping included. I don't need a printer, speakers or a webcam, just the laptop itself. Thanks!

Thats not a bad deal for what you get, but you do have to pay the higher price before rebate. Not sure if there are circuit citys in Canada or if they will ship.

relies upon on your budgets and your desires, if funds isn't a constraint, the final could be Alienware laptops. If seems and ask your self concerns, then you are able to decide for HP, Dell Studio or the Mac laptops.. yet pay attention, Mac laptops ruin the bank if something is going haywire after the guaranty era. a chum of mine had to pay $250 in basic terms to interchange the demonstrate.

You cannot buy a laptop that is good for music, video, etc. for $400. You can buy a minimal laptop from places like www.dell.com for $399 on sale, but it will be far less powerful than a desktop of the same price.
