Stop being afraid. The government should be afraid of it's people (that's what the 2nd Amendment is for), not the other way around. As long as the people are afraid, they are subservient. Once the people no longer fear them, they are exposed for what they are; useless, power hungry thieves.

Read 1984 again.

In 1984, the road ended in Room 101. But in the real world--the world as it is--you have the opportunity to take a different road. You CAN defeat Big Brother in so many different ways. It's just a matter of "waking up" and seeing where the power really resides--with YOU.

You have the power to withdraw your permission, to withdraw your support.

You have to want freedom. You have to desire it intensely. If you want to be a prole, that is your choice and your right. But if you want to be FREE, then it's time to wake up and ACT.

I've always thought that America needs a program that gets more of its citizens overseas. America's isolationism, which led to its greatness, is also the cause of many problems. The citizenry is robbed of interaction with other cultures, which makes it easier for the powers in charge to manipulate the public into fearing and even hating others. Familiarity with other cultures leads to acceptance and the realization that we are all quite similar underneath it all.

i could say the basis reason behind the loss in self assurance is corruption. Wall highway and our authorities are too heavily tied at the same time. It has change right into a authorities owned with the help of corporations. It creates a large conflict of pastime. What electorate can do to modify that's call for more effective from their authorities. they could push for strict regulation on Wall highway. human beings could call for that there be a separation of authorities and massive company. electorate could call for actual campaign finance reform. Our congressmen could come back to representing the desires of their parts of their districts, no longer merely the pastimes of the firms of their districts. What I actually have stated above is the classic way of fixing the region. yet i could say the actual thanks to remedy the region is to scrap the capitalist device altogether and commence over with a distinct economic device.

Don't wink at a girl in a darkened room. Take to the streets; mass protests like every weekend; if you don't make yourselves heard in numbers, you're winking in the dark.
