If TECHX69 is right and the guy was in court shackled she should not have done it. Maybe they can get her off with diminished capacity
insanity but she will probably do some time for that.
It is not right to murder. And that was a premeditated murder. I feel for her and if she had caught the guy in the act I'd let her off but to shoot a guy like a trusted up chicken when the police have him in custody? No, let the system have it's way with him. We are a society of laws. If we go back to the primitive system of the blood feud, it's chaos.
Anyway everybody knows convicted sex predators of children have a bad time in prison. If she'd waited dollars to donuts some con would have done the deed for her, no charge. I don't approve of this but it's the current reality.

I don't know where it was, but HURRAY for her! Although they'll probably put her through the ringer for it! If the predator had lived, he would just get a slap on the hand with some rules/laws which law enforcement doesn't enforce worth a darn. The victims live with it for the rest of their lives. They'll still have to live with it now, but the predator wont be able to harm another child!

I dont know where you are but i can tell you that I would do the same thing.Unfortunately the "legal system" doesnt see it that way. These jerks have to many rights. I think if anyone kills or hurts anyone.especially a child should lose all their rights. Save taxe payers a lot of money,

she was RIGHT. then again, i don't have much sympathy for any human who takes advantage of anyone in a sexual way, especially children! i would have done the same thing. boo hoo, poor sexual predator. he deserves what he got. imagine if she would have just had him arrested? he would have been a free-man after a slap on the wrist, the way our legal system works. then he would be right back out on the streets molesting and raping, forever traumatizing and ruining the lives of any victim he chose.

It was in Jamestown Calif. The suspect was shackled to a chair in the local courtroom. This dipstick woman walked up behind the guy and shot him in the head. Don't remember her name.
She went to prison for it(a GOOD thing). There's those little things called CIVIL RIGHTS. This is still(in a small way) America.

I have a friend who answered a similar question saying she would do the same thing. I asked her how she could do that since she is anti-death penalty. She answered that, "but it was his son."

Anyway, I would do the same thing, since our justice system is bogus and would probably give the sexual predator probation or something like that.

It would depend on the circumstances, if he was threatening in any way she has a right to defend herself and her family. That being said it is wrong to be Judge, Jury and Executioner. By taking the law into her own hands she has violated the law and it is called murder which is never right for any reason.

don't know....but the system is so corrupt. it seems there are more rights for the offenders than the victims. i work in the legal field and i've seen this first hand. while vigilantes can sometimes get out of controll, i think they should stand this woman on the front lawn of the court house and give her a medal.

I believe she was right. That sexual predator does not deserve to live. It ruins the victims for life.

Even though he did that legally she is not able to shoot him unless he was doing it while she shot him. If that is the case then she had every right to do what she did. I wouldn't want the person dead. I would want them to rot in prison. Cause child molesters don't do well at all in prison.
