I went from being a total wall flower to being happy and confident by changing my environment and the people in it.
If you want to reinvent yourself you need to start from scratch, it's hard to change when the people around you are so used to you being a certain way.
If you have to, pretend you are confident. Watch how other less shy people are and act like that. Pretty soon you will find it has become your nature too. Be careful to only try to emulate people you respect and who have real confidence. You don't want to lose the essence of who you are.

I know it's the holiday season, but where's the fire? The passion man!? Dish out a few threats! You've got to do it every once in a while. I'm not always going to be around to be the b@stard damn it! Which Anime Character... 1) acts like you? Tenchi Masaki 2) has the same emotions as you? Hiei 3) has your outer personality? Hitsugaya 4) thinks like you? Kenichi 5) deals with love like you that's the same? Huh, a lot do. 6) has your willpower? Luffy 7) has the same luck, generosity, and tolerance level as you? Luck has to go to Ukita from HSD Kenichi. Always gets the short end of the deal. Generosity goes to Kuwabara. Same style. Tolerance: Aksaime 8) can deal with rejection as much as you can? Sanji, always bounces back. 9) is as independent as you are? Kurono 10) has changed as much as you? Yusuke 11) would you like to be? Zelgadis 12) is your favorite x) All listed above

" shyness is nice, but shyness can stop you, from doing all the things in life you like to". lyrics to one of my favorite songs. What is the worst that can happen from doing something you want to do, or something you wanted to tell someone. Taking a deep breath before taking a shot at anything, is the first step. You will never gain anything without loosing anything. We all go through the feeling of humiliation. After a while, you won't think that its a big deal anymore..............hope that helped a little.

I've always been a shy person, & even though it's difficult to break out of that, you have to take risks & remove yourself from your comfort zone. Do something you wouldn't normally do, for the experience, & once you've crossed that threshold it'll be easier next time you might want to do something. Sometimes we have to just DO something, even if it's not something we would normally feel comfortable doing. Talk to people more, & just be yourself, & you'll begin to see that there isn't a reason to be shy anymore!

First off, i realised i was shy because i was afraid that if i tried to make new firends they will reject me so i thought it was beter not knowing than knowing that people dont like me. So after some time i made friends with someone that wasn't shy at all and watching her be so free to talk to anyone about anything that was on her maind kinda made me more confident cause i think if she can do it so can i.

I am no help here but trust me I went from extra shy to a big blabber mouth and center of the party. How long did it take? Honestly? 50 years. But I do not have a clue to how it happened.

I used to be REALLY shy, now I'm like the oposite lol, I don't really know how it happened. I think that it's important to remember that you can be confident and that people DO want to hear from you. I donno tho, it may just take time.
