I'm thinking of getting 3 tats one on each shoulder and one on the back of my neck. And I've always wanted multiple piercings in my ears. But I do worry about what my mom and sibs would think. OK folks you make the call!

OK when I said "You make the call" I was kinda joking. Also I'm of legal age.

love it's your body. do with it as you please. easy on the tattoos though if you're young. i have a few i had done when i was 18 and now, a few years down the road, i wish i hadn't got them. piercings aren't as serious though, as you, of course, can remove them at any point and they usually have no repercussion. (all of this assuming you're of legal age).

p.s. good, you're legal. then i firmly stand by the idea that we only live once and should never hold back from trying something (as long as it isn't going to hurt anyone) that we would really like to. just make sure you thoroughly consider how you might feel about the tattoo 10, 20 etc. years down the road. good luck!

Why? Ask yourself why you're doing it or planning to do it. I'm not saying don't do it, but it sounds like you have some doubts. Tattoos are or should be art for YOU. Don't do it just to fit in or because it's becoming popular.

The piercings could close up with time if you change your mind, but the tats are FOREVER. Cover-ups are always bigger than the originals if you go that route and if the original work is cheap or poorly done, the cover-ups don't always look that good. Laser removal, in case you change your mind later, is not a great option either. It's expensive and doesn't always work on colors.

Instead of getting seven tats right away... start with a small one and see how it works for you. Go to a reputable artist. Don't go cheap. Take care of the tats (and piercings), keep them clean and moist. When they're healed... use sunscreen (45 SPF).

its your body! You have to live with it! I personally believe that tats should have a meaning behind them and you shouldn't get one just to get one because they look cool! i didn't get my first tat until i was 22 because i didn't want just anything... i had an artist draw a custom tat for me that truly meant something. As far as piercings go.. you can take those out. Also remember when marking your body with ink or piercings make sure you can hide these if you want to be successful in life. Employers do look at the appearance of a person and if you and someone else have the same exact qualifications and your all visibly marked up and hes not... 9/10 times they will choose the other person. Unfortunately that is how our world is and it probably will not change. ~ good luck!

If you want it do it, but maybe put them on your shoulders or hips instead of arms for the sake of future jobs. The multiple ear piercings should never be a problem, even professional jobs allow ear piercings.
Of course if you are so worried about it to ask a bunch of strangers to decide you probably dont want them that bad

You know what Buddie, everyone has a life to live and is also responsible for his or her attitude, for me tat to and piercing could be bad and also could not really be bad depending on how you see your body,is your body the temple of holy spirit or its what keeps you going,if you want it,go for it,but make sure its what makes you happy and not what makes people love you, because if its what you do for friends i tell you ,you would regret,so its your live sit down and think it over and ask what would it really profit you to have a tat to Ana piercing and if your mom dint want it why make her angry but like i said its a free world and every one has a right to make decision so make what makes you happy your decision.

I might assume some thing that's creative might be a well begin. Also nightclubs, tattoo parlours, tune shops that form of factor. Next time you notice any individual with tons of piercings why no longer ask them with courtesy wherein they paintings? Obviously any style of conformist activity is out but when your into frame artwork its usually no longer the form of activity you would wish besides!

No...then you will look like most everyone. Tat's and piercings is the "anti-establishment" & trendy thing to do. (Just like tricking out cars.) Be original...do something you thought of.
Also, look at it this way. You are a business owner, would you hire a person that is all inked up? Knowing people will look at that person diffrently, and may not come back your business?

stop and picture yourself at 80 years old do you really want to look like that? these things are just a fad right now but they are permanent maybe you should really picture yourself at 40 or 50 and where you will be at that time sitting in a bar you will be okay sitting at a desk or working in a hospital would you really be comfortable. if you can cover them okay also remember where you put them today will not be where they will be in years to come, law of gravity, they will start on your shoulder and end up on your elbow

If you're going to do it, why not start out with one tattoo before getting the others. That way, everyone will have time to get used to things a bit. Otherwise, it's kind of a lot to take in.

No. Why follow the crowd? All this tattoo & piercing stuff is getting SOOOO old. It's been done to death, next trend, please! I already know several people who got it done at the beginning of this trend wave that are now older, married, have kids & wanting to advance their careers. They regret it & are working on getting the more prominent ones removed. And their verdict: this is even more painful & takes a LONG time! So, consider the above before you act, please.
