Wyclef Jean does a song called "Jaspora" off his Wyclef Jean presents... album and its entirely in either French or Haitian Creole. I'm dying to know what "Jaspora" (Jahs-po-Rah) means and what the song's about. Cany anyone help???

Actually it's "Diaspora" in French or "Dyaspora" in Haitian Creole. It's a word used to refer to Haitians who have immigrated to other countries (like Wyclef). [Ok so the title of the song is "Jaspora" I really dont' understand why...]
The lyrics... I'm not really a Wyclef fan but it starts like this:

Yes, just as an English speaker can learn Jamaican Creole more easily than a Frenchman could. Both are basically a European language simplified and its prounciation and syntax heavily influenced by Bantu languages. But "ease" is relative: neither would have a very simple task!

Diaspora is a word which refers to a people/nation scattered all around the world.
Haiti has a large diaspora because, they have had political problems for a while and lots of people run away from this. That's why he talks about "refugees" (FUGEES).
Hey by the way, there's no such thing as French creole.
