Having listened to your tracks..I would say the only thing they lack is passion and confidence. Structurally their are sound ,well craft compositions lyrically..maybe a bit on the safe side in the arrangement..as if your playing in a controlled way within your comfort zone..rather than letting go of your creativity and being a bit vulnerable. Vocally I couldn't help thinking it sounded like a 'shy' Cat Stevens. I also get the feeling your a better guitarist than these recordings suggest. You build up nicely with the introductions but then I desperately wanted you to take off somewhere and create some tension. The markets high at the moment with Acoustic singer/songwriters so the question is 'what am I being, sharing, that's new and innovative. Being authentic is the key..so be exposed and broken if that's who you are are underneath, or if your angry and passionate....we listeners engage with that..the personality through the music as much as how well something sounds. Otherwise people like bob Dylan would of never made it! Let yourself Go so that more of 'Martyn' can be seen though the music, take a few more risk's musically and I think you'll develop a market for your music. Good Luck!

HEY MARTYN-I REALLY LOVED YOUR MUSIC-I THINK THAT THE GUITARS SOUND A BIT"UP"IN THE MIX AND MAYBE THE FILLS COULD BE A BIT MORE SPARSE AND INTERMITTENT-AS IM NOT SURE WHICH TO CONCENTRATE ON-YOUR VOICE OR THE FILLS-PERHAPS LEAVE EM OUT A BIT MORE WHILST YOU ARE SINGING.I PLAY TOO AND AMWELL IMPRESSED WITH THE SOUND YOUVE GOT FOR THE ACOUSTICS AND I LIKE YOUR VOICE AND THE LYRICS TOO.IF I DO HAVE A CRITICISM OF THE THREE YOU HAVE OFFERED UP ITS THATS MAYBE THERES NOT ENOUGH DIVERSITY BETWEEN THE THREE TO REALLY GIVE IT THE FULL DR JIMMY THUMBS UP-BUT AS ONE PLAYER TO ANOTHER I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO GET PEOPLE TO LISTEN AND THE ONES THAT DO USUALLY SAY ITS GREAT EVEN IF IT ISNT BECAUSE THEYRE YOUR MATES!!BUT BEING AS I DONT KNOW YOU AND IVE JUST GIVEN UP MY TIME AND LISTENED TO THEM ALL TWICE AND THEN TYPED THIS EPIC REPLY THEN YOU KNOW YOUVE GOT A FAN IN ME!!TRY A BIT MORE STRUMMY STUFF-I ALWAYS LOVE RECORDING WITH TWO GUITARS PANNED WITH ONE OF THEM ON A CAPO PLAYING THE SAME THING HIGHER UP-ALWAYS GIVES IT THAT FULL SOUND THATS SOMETIMES LACKING IN ACOUSTIC RECORDINGS-YOU DONT ROCK-BUT YOU SORT OF BOB TO AND FRO VERY NICELY,AMD I EXPECT THATS HOW YOU WANT TO BE THOUGHT OF!!GOOD LUCK,DONT GIVE UP NO MATTER WHAT AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BE A GOOD EGG THEN WHY NOT SEND ME SOME STUFF DOWN THE LINE AND ILL MAKE ALL MY MATES LISTEN TO YOU??

Great songs! Loved Politicians and Wisemen-- very thought provoking!!!
You may want to EQ some of the treble out to reduce the hiss and add more bass to your guitar. It sounds great but a little on the tinny side.
