Ok i skipped the pill for a week
21 pills in a pack 1 week not taking it and a week skipped (2 weeks Altogether ) i had unprotected sex with my fiance i had sore nippels when i touch them and pinched them, but its going away. its about 8 days before my period but i took a Ept test yesterday and it was Neg, but this moring i went to the bathroom i picked it up and it showed a faint positive... WHy is that? i took another test and now again negative. should i wait till i miss my period and then take a nother test? i am still on the pill should i stop taking it ?

Since you have missed so many pills and you had unprotected sex it is possible that you are pregnant.
But when did you start taking the pills after you had unprotected sex?
You should wait until you are at least 4 days late for you period and then take a test.

I've had something similar happen to me before only I didn't miss a week of pills. I missed like one or two by not remembering to take it. Turned out I was pregnant and I knew the minute I started hurling in a toilet about a couple weeks later. I was still taking the pill after missing anyway that is until I found out for sure that I was PG. If I were you, I'd wait until you miss your period. Stay on the pill if you don't really want to be PG. If you don't care about being PG or not, then stop taking them. It's your call. Good Luck!

those test results are only good for something like 10 -20 minute after they are used... disregard the false positive. That and it is too early to take a test 8 days before your missed period. The only one out there that covers before is E.P.T and it is 5 days before so if you are or your not... it won't show up until then. Best of luck

The test only works for a certain length of time. The control portion usually finds it's way to the window and shows a "faint" positive test. Wait a few days and test again. Or buy the test that spells it out for you "pregnant" or "not pregnant". This way there's no guessing!

Test results are only good for 10 minutes tops. After that they are no good. Do you read directions?!? They clearly state several times not to check the result after 10 minutes! You need to wait till you actually miss your period, then go to the doctor. Stop hogging up the board with your wishful thinking or paranoia which ever the case may be.

Unless you have one of the early prediction tests that will allow you to test days prior to being late, you have to wait until after you've missed.
Tests have to be read within a certain amount of time. Reading them hours or days later won't give you an accurate result.

Your question should have ended with the word stupid! You skipped the pill, had unprotected sex and now you're asking a bunch of strangers in a chat room what to do?

2 negative tests almost certainly means your not pregnant but you should wait until after your usual period date to check again

it tells you on the box not to read the test after 15 munits it will show a false pos . after sitting awile
