I got my ears pierced and I waited 6 weeks and I took my earrings out and put in a different pair. That night I took them out. The next morning I had trouble putting them in, but I got them in. Three days later I tried to put them in but I couldn't. So the next 2 days I didn't wear earrings. I looked up on the computer what might be the problem I figure out that I have keloids in my earring holes. What should I do because they closed up half way. Should I get them repierced, but I was worried that I would make a bigger hole. What should I do?

Do you know that a keloid exposed to the sun can increase your chance of skin cancer? It's a fibrous scar so it's most likely "healed"... if you want your earing to go through... I'd push really hard or re-do the hole with a STERILIZED pin.

It took me two years to heal my ears before I could change my earrings. So just stick with the surgical steel earrings you got your ears pierced with and leave them on for 6 months and check to see if they are healed , if not go for another 6 months and try again, until they are healed. If you feel any pain or see anything unusual, see your doctor right away as infections can complicate things.

Get a safety pin and some alcohol. Sterilize the pin and push it though. Put the earring back in. Make sure you are wearing surgical steel or gold earrings while you heal.

Let them heal over, you do not want an infection! Ask your Dr. when it would be alright to get your ears repeirced.
