Determine if your body fat index is greater than 25. Here is a web site that you can used to determine your BFI. This is the calculator that your Doc will use to determine what your weight should be. If your BFI is greater than 25 you should loose until it is below 25.

130 lbs at 5"2 is NOT fat...........at any age.
your friend is right, you don't need to diet, so don't listen to your mum on this one. If you are the one concerned with your weight, then you should go to your doctor and get his/her opinion.

losing a little weight would be better for you or at least staying at that weight without gaining any more. maybe you could try the diet and go along with your mom or if u don't want to do that try exercising more often or join a sport club at school.

5'2 and 130 lbs is really obese. Blunt maybe, but if you don't do something now you are going to have a very unhealthy and probably a sick existence as an adult.
Do something now, before it is too late.

Your mother seems to be trying to prepare you from "womanhood"--what you both need to do know is that the couple of extra pounds you have are kind of necessary in your growth as an adolescant. In simple terms, that extra poundage becomes breasts and hips and height. And you don't seem to be out of ou weight range, so i'd tell mother to chill and relax. You will know when there is something wrong--your body will tell you if you listen to it.

No, I don't think you are fat at all! It doesn't matter what your mom, bf, or friends say, just so you are happy with yourself. If you think you are fine, then be happy with that. If you would like to lose some weight, then do it for yourself, but no one else.

ok well im 5ft and 112 pounds as your taller you should be at least 10 to 15 pounds heavier which you are so obviously your fine, once your happy and confident about yourself that is all that matters

Are you happy with yourself? If you are then don't worry about it, as long as you are exercising to some extent and eating properly. Tell everyone else to go pound sand.
