As opposed to how many think doctors just toss drugs your way and let the body cure itsself? Do you think doctors are more interested in making money? Did you know more doctors are involved in accidental deaths, by far, than lawful gun owners are? Just curious.

Doctors....or better yet the medical profession hasn't "cured" anything since POLIO! WHY is that you may ask...because there is no profit in the cure. However there is profit in TREATMENT. But what are they Treating? The SYMPTOMS...not the cause. if you pay attention to the advertisements for medications for various problems....the side effects are worst then the current problem. This is a moral problem that will not be solve until people start making their voices heard....until then the best way to avoid the problem is self awareness and taking better care of ourselves. DOCTORS DO NOT CURE....NOR DO THEY HEAL.
Physicians, heal thy self. PEACE

Doctors don't cure disease, the scientists that made the medicine/techniques do. I don't really trust doctors, I go to the pharmacist and make sure the medicine I'm being prescribed is going to help me or not, have been given prescriptions by doctors before that I'm allergic to. Also, yes, I'm aware that doctor's are involved in more accidental deaths, that's why the courts are full of malpractice suits.

Doctors don't cure diseases, your immune's system with the help of drugs on occassions do. There are some good doctors out there, there are also some bad ones and these days with malpractice insurance rate sky high and HMO depressing payment for services, depending ont he specialty, docs are well off, but usually not the very rich folks as shown on tv etc....

They cure patients, not diseases, just some of them are more competent than others. Some diseases cannot be cured, but they try to better the patients quality of life. Sometimes the bodies defenses aren't enought to help cure itself so medication is necessary, sometimes the body may even attack itself, such as in the so-called auto-immune diseases.

if the dr excises ur cancerous tumor,he or she has just saved u.in a case like that, the body was killing, not curing itself.are their crooks, fakes and materialists in the various medical proffessions-sure.just like in most other professions.there are even more who work to help those who suffer, and who comfort those who cannot be cured,or have reached an advanced age,and who will die-often,when family members are "too busy".or "they just cant bear to see gramma that way".we are there for ur births, deaths, and everything in between.if u collapse in the street,we dont let u "cure urself",we attempt cpr.!!!! as for accidents,i agree-its unconscionable!!! the whole system of double and triple shifts for drs and nurses must be changed-swho wants someone with no sleep in three days to work on u ???thats when accidents happen.also, patient load is so heavy, one person cannot keep up with the demand for care, and quality slips-not bcause ur nurse or dr was a cold bastard, but bcause we are understaffed-its such a demanding, physically and emotionally draining job, people are leaving the medical proffessions in droves, leaving patients even more vulnerable.also,in cases of accute pain relief, accidents certainly occur-for example,in many cases the maximum pain relief dosage of morphine is close to a fatal dosage-but are u going to let the terminal patient scream in gut-tearing agony,or are u gonna up the dose???thats the kinda thing drs deal with everyday.

Doctors aren't supposed to cure diseases. They cure patients.

Doctors are just the same as auto mechanics. They both try to fix things, but most of the time they are just guessing.
