Actually years ago there was an election and kids voted to let him have trix.

Stix the Trix rabbit was first introduced in 1959 and like Wile E. Coyote, he has a constant struggle to obtain a simple bowl of cereal. In 1991, the ad campaign ended with a write-in survey asking children to vote as to whether or not the Trix Rabbit should finally get a taste of Trix. American children responded yes to the survey and the final ad depicted the Rabbit getting a bowl of Trix without being caught.

If he gets the Trix who will watch the commercials and then they will have to come up with a new way to get your kid excited about Trix.

That drives me crazy too, but if they gave it to him, their whole idea of trying to make people remember Trix (which works) would be lost.
