Once the camshaft and crankshafts are aligned and the plug wires are in the right order, then the timing should be adjusted by the computer. The best way to check and make sure is to, either go to your local library and check one of their books, or go to a local parts store and buy a Haynes manual.

I'll be the first to admit that I know NOTHING about a 1993 Geo Storm... BUT... I would guess that it has a computer that the timing is adjusted through. If it has a distributor (follow spark plug cables backwards to a tower) then your timing marks will be on a small wheel at the base of where your fan is attached. This wheel is between your fan and engine block.
