Sure,Saurav has a potential to be a boon for the opposite team but don't forget his achievements,and the accomplishments which also played a vital role to make India into a positive unit.So basically, his presence can be a boon or pehaps, even a bane.

Boon to the opposite side and bane to India. So he should not join the Indian team.

He is a player who had set many RECORDS for the Indian Team

Not like Others setting individual records in others risk.

So you decide whether he is Boon or Bane.

Definately a bane, he is not in a good form and byu the time he comes back to form (if he does so) it will be too late

if sourav comes back,which he should it will be great, they need thee bengal tiger, sourav has plenty of cricket in him and if he comes back i am sure he wil prove everybody wrong like he always has but the only reason he willl not because of POLITICS
