I agree. Electromagnetic energy is the basis of our existence. Because of it, everything in our universe moves from the present into the past at the same speed. Its speed is what physical time is composed of, gravitational waves are a component of it, and yet we know nothing about it as being an entity unto itself. It appears as though its basis is that of the value "h" which does mankind no good, other than being able to ascribe a name to it.

Light is well understood when compared with the other three fundemental forces we have on the books today. Look at the strong force, which is propagated by proposed gluons in between quarks. Strange stuff. Look at gravity. Sure we knew about it for a long time, but we still dont know why it works. Photons we can detect by themselves, but we still have not found evidence of the proposed graviton, which supposedly carrys the force of gravity. The weak force has been linked with the EM force, so its relative complexity is small when compared with these other two. Look em up some time.

Light...gravity...non-locality...physics beyond the event horizon of a black hole...cause of Big Bang...quantum mechanics, etc.,.
