Now why would you want to condense a file?
You probably want to compress it.
Try using a program like 7-Zip, Winrar or unix tar and bzip2

You can use Adobe Acrobat (not Reader). It has an PDF optimization function. However, Acrobat is expensive.

Another trick is to open the PDF in Photoshop, reduce the resolution and then save as a Photoshop PDF which will open in any PDF-compatible software. The downside is that type and vector art will be rasterized at the lower resolution also.

You can use a compression program, such as WinZip http://www.winzip.com to reduce the size of the .PDF for portability needs (e.g., e-mailing it, moving it to another location, storing it elsewhere than your current computer).

However, if you mean to leave it as is, but just reducing the size of the file without compression, you will not be able to do it UNLESS you reduce the content in the document.
