Ummm no if that were to ever happen, which it will most likely not ever happen. UPS would keep its name and Fed Ex would still be Fed Ex, But UPS would get all the profit and we would eventually swallow it all up. I work for UPS so I know a few things.

A merger of UPS & Fed Ex, realizing that FedEx is in tight with United States Postal Service(USPS) helping them with their over night services could create a federal monopoly and it could then be named;

United Postal Federal Express Delivery Service
the acronym would be

UP FEDS

wouldn’t be politically correct though.. just stay with your idea

How about calling them the Exs Ups? That way the ex part gets credit too......

This is old, and not funny. Never was funny, and no they would do a Sprint Nextel thing and call it ... Fed Ex... with UPS.
