I would say to go on a tour of the insectarium, Botanical Gardens, and the Biodome. These three "museums" are fantastic and world renouned. There is a package fee for all three, very nice...
The old port is a definate must maybe for the other half day. Many pubs down there, great little boutiques, stree vendors, just a great time...
