How do you define Hell?

How do we know that Hell is either cold or Hot?. Religious books tell alot of things about heaven and Hell. I am a muslim and in the quran it tells that Hell is Extremely hot. Not only there will be fire but also other things. A posinous spider will come and bite the human and rot him and hurt him soo painfully. i mean just think what is in hell. THere are endless things that a human will encounter with.

So pray and hopefully alll of your bads sins will go away.

HOT damn hot. So hot that you need permanent sunscreen. Why wear white in heaven? They need it in hell. You've heard of absolute zero for coldness of temperate? Then the other end describes hell. Hell it's hot.

it's really all a matter of pressure and volume. In theory all the people dying and going there are increasing the pressure constantly, so it's probably darn hot...hot enough to cook things in your pants.

not at all hot, these are just stories. if hell is where you are tortured the most, then it may also be deathly cold, freezing.

Some versions have hell as a cold and lonely place and not fire and brimstone.
