Is it true that Amish people only have intercourse to reproduce, not for pleasure? Is it true they do it thru a slit in the sheet?

There is an entire spectrum of Amish people. Some are more strict than others. The custom you describe is a very rare one, even among the Amish.
(But no, they don't use birth control, or are not supposed to - like Catholics)

I'm not a voyeur so I can't tell you about the slit in the sheet. But they probably do only have sex to reproduce. They wouldn't have protection or anything would they? I know they're weird though... I live in PA so I see a lot of them.
