I have known that cockroaches have their 13 heart chambers connected with each other placed on the peripheral surface of its body. The lymph fluid passes from the inner body region into these heart chambers which are connected to one another in a long chain and the lymph passes through it into the head and then to the neural side which contains the nerves. I don't know any other creatures that have their heart in the head region.
