Mirror is a surface that reflects light and reflects with a very high reflectivity. Reflectivity index is a measure of reflectivity and is a ratio of reflected to incident amount of light. Mirror should have a reflectivity index close to 1.0 or 100%.

Mirrors are analogous to lenses since they can magnify images, however each use different properties. The mirror reflects light while lens refracts or beds light.
