As I try to comport myself into sanity, I get infuriatingly rattled like a crazed jackal at the thought of this. I agree with "TD" and "rolltidefan29". Exploitation to the max! I don't need to see a movie. It was bad enough actually seeing the second plane hit, and that in itself seemed sureal; like something out of the "Fourth of July" movie w/ Will Smith. It really looked like a movie. The people that were standing around in that 43rd fl. conference room were silent until that second strike. There was a short female attorney standing next to me, and when the incident happened she began to sob, screaming uncontrollably. That was my cue to leave regardless if my supervisor aproved or not; i did not care for anything but getting my a s s home. I did not step into Manhattan for over an entire year leading afterwards. I disagree with SASSY. Pearl Harbor was made years afterwards. And I onesidedly agree that it was soley made for US not to forget the sacrifice made by those men! It was given a great deal of time before that tender wound looked like it might heal. There are Soldiers who were there that day and are still alive today who clam up and/or cry at the thought of this. I remember a two week drill camping/maneuvering where 3 Veteran Seargents were talking amoungst themselves one night about the things they've seen and done in Vietnam. They had a disturbing blank limbo-like look on their faces that I cannot describe any better. We as civilians will never know what it is like to be in war. It is unforgiving!!! Although I support my Brothers and Sisters out there right now, my confidence in our government is.....how will I put it....suspect. Moore had it right, send the governments policymakers/shakers children to war and see how they will survive away from the comfort blanket of privilegded socializm. Respect the UCMJ!!! Uniform Code of Military Justice. Even when I wasn't wearing my uniform It was expected of me to act accordingly as a proud American in everything I did. As far as the movie is concerened, I seriously hope it gets banned.

I watched Live with Regis and Kelly yesterday morning and they had Maggie Gyllehaal come on and talk about the movie and they showed a clip and it looks really good. On the show, Maggie said is gives the word "hero" true meaning again because some people just use that word without knowing it's true meaning. It seems really good to me.

i think its too soon to make the tragedy into a movie. But at the same time it's going to come out sooner or later so i guess there never would be a good time for it. Atleast they have some good actors in it, if it was like shitty actors and stuff i think it would be a mockery, hopefully its tastefully done, either way i doubt ill go see it.

I also think it is too soon, but then again, when will it ever be the right time? I think if it is done with dignity, then it will be the memorial they want it to be. I have very mixed feelings about it...kind of like Pearl Harbor, we all remember exactly where we were that morning. Having my whole family in law enforcement and firemen, I don't think I could see it yet.

I can't wait to see the movie, as far as being appropriate or not I can't say without seeing the movie. My question is why would it be inappropriate? compared to some of the movies that have been made on real life issues that have happened.

I think this movie is going to touch so many lives especially the families who had lost a loved one. I think it will be inspirational and also informative for America to see what happend and what we had lost at that moment in our lives. As long as they do this movie in good taste, I think it will do fine. They did a tv movie about the planes that were hijacked and that touched deep in my soul, I felt for all those people on the planes as well as their families.

I think that everyone (especially those who lost loved ones that day) already went through it once. There's no need to put everyone through that again just to make money. People say that this movie honours those that died that day, but I think the opposite. I think it's incredibly disrespectful to everyone involved to spray their stories across a movie screen to make a couple bucks.

in my personal opinion its not a good thing it brings back memories of that god awful day i know people think its good to show tribute to the heros of that day but my family lost a family memeber on that awful day and to have to see it in a movie its not like we dont remember already we dont need a movie, I think if they want to do something to show tribute to the heros and to the people that parrished that day they need a memorial

I think it's expoiltation. People are trying to make money off a tragedy. WHy do we need a movie??? Who has forgotten what happened?? It hasn't been that long ago.
