as white trash as it sounds frankly my dear I do, I especially like those rednecks that take hub cabs and bottle caps and weld them into abstract art and place them around their yard - I think that is creative and out side the box - which is right up my alley.

I read in the paper about a year and a half ago that a couple in England had a lot of Yard art stuff stolen from their yard, as a fact of fact to the tune of about three hundred thousand pounds. The damn thiefs dug the whole thing out.
So no, I am not a Yard Art thief. If I was, I'd say yes, I love em.

I hate to say it, but most of the yard art stuff is extremely tacky. Unless it's done in conjunction with a garden or some creative landscaping, it just doesn't work well. When it is used effectively though, they can be quite beautiful. A good example is a japanese garden.

I travel a fair amount and love to get off the interstate and drive the smaller highways, this primitive folk art is alive and well in rural America.. Sometimes its all a repetition of itself but I am always amazed at the time and effort that goes into making this stuff. Sometimes its simply collections of many kinds of similar items(hubcaps), on rare occasions a new twist or idea. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to a point... a nicely manicured lawn and appropriate landscaping looks nice... But it's like mixing background music in a soundtrack... IF... you hear it... If you know it's there.. it's probably TOO much.
