why fire on a viechle that clearly has the red cross flying on it,

Life or death situations are the most difficult to assess
when you see your friend hesitate and die you have a tendency to rush to judge.
If you are right you are alive and OK,however if you fired in hast you are alive but now must explain why you killed and innocent

Friendly fire is just part of the fog of war.

Sometimes you get so locked on to what you are doing that someone makes a mistake and trys to change position and ends up in your gun fire.

No matter how much training a soldier has it is going to happen. There is no reason to train for it because yes you can train to prepare for war but when you are there its a whole other story.

Those soldiers all know what friendly fire is. Have you walked in their shoes? I suspect not.

friendly fire............firing at ones own side or a allys.............other than that i dont know what you mean I was too busy killing to worry about what the meaning of the phras was.
