how do you make a rap song?

Lol..Funny because right now I'm trying to write a love song..and this is what I usually do..

First;; Decide whether its going to be rap hip hop or what

Second;; Decide if its going to be an upbeat, catchy song, or a love song

Third;; Find a topic to write about! Love, Relationships, Life, Laffy Taffy's, Drugs, Money, Livin' In the Hood, Growing up etc.

Fourth;; Find a good beat, or make one.

Fifth;; Try to make a good chorus;; something catchy that you know everyone is going to want to sing over and over must be about 30 seconds long.

Sixth;; Plan out what all you wanna say in your song, and whats your message.

Seventh;; Verse 1;; Which will easily be your hardest verse to write, You should have at least three verses in a song, which all lasts about a minute long each.

Eighth;; Add in the 30 second chorus after each verse, including the last one, you can even make the chorus repeat twice after the third verse.

Ninth;; Proofread over your song, take out things you don't want in there, try to expand your vocabulary while writing the song, try not to use everyday words, and don't make the song sound corny!

Tenth;; Record it, then let your family hear it, if its good enough you should give the demo to your local radio station, if its good enough they'll play it over and over, and you'll become famous.
