Residual stress and how to measure it? - is an interesting question.

1. Yes I away feel residual stress after a good party and it is frequently proportional to the amount liquor consumed. That part I do not know how to quantize in terms of national y or internationally accepted units.
2. On the other hand residual stress is produced by ether tension or compression which exists in the material without application of an external force. Now this one can be quantified. See references below
