It is a P2P file sharing program, which when connected to the net as it needs to be to work properly gives you acess to about 30 million files of all different kinds.
Beware when using it though as many of the files are infected with viruses. I have found EDonkey a much better choice and have actually had no problems with it and viruses.
They are both very easy to find and very easy to setup and use, give them a try but remember to make sure you have a very good firewall and virus scanner installed on your system.
You know the funny thing, these programs have paid pro versions and on the networks that they work on you can get these pro versions for free rather than paying for them, me personally I paid for mine as I didn't think of looking for them before buying them but you can if you want.
Just be really careful for viruses an also for the copyright police

Because it is illegal to download music,etc off the internet limewire is a site where people share music, movies etc. Honestly its exactly like downloading information, its just whatever you download, you share it with other users. Its also free. Try it.

the newest version of limewire is 4.12.3 and beware of viruses
the files which size is 851 kb, 750 kb 228 kb 197 kb etc are w32 viruses

honey limewire is a P2P software (People to People ) so people can share files and music and everyhing u can imagine in digital form and share it .. altho it is considered illegal if ur sharing any copyright materials..
