there is very little danger nowadays as long as you go to a reputable clinic. its is still very early and the feotus is still very underdeveloped and it would not survive out of the womb. just make sure you consider it carefully and know inside that u are making the right decision.

I had an abortion at 12 weeks back in Feb of last year. To all those judgemental people that say it's murder, people said that to me and do you know what, if more people spent the time helping me instead of judging me then maybe I would've relised the mistake I was about to make! Please make sure that it's what you trully want in your heart, not in your head. I've now got a 4 month old baby boy. He's the best thing to ever happen me, ever. But the abortion was wrong, for me, and it messed my head up and within 6 months I was pregnant again. I listened to people and ignored the voice in my head. Listen to your voice. If it still says the abort the feotus and thats right for you, it is safe in hospital. Your feotus will be about twice the size of a large egg that includes the amiotic sack that cusions it. I hope whatever your choice you do ok and that people support you and understand that no matter what there is no "easy" way out. Good luck. xx

No lasting danger, but as anything there are risks.
Different countries have different cut off dates for the termination of a pregnancy, you will need to check this.
People will judge you, some won't. I would love to know how many children the people that judge you have adopted, or how do they know this is not a medically necessary termination. Only you will know this. Check your local clinic for information.
At 12 weeks, you are still carrying a fetus, though there is a heartbeat doctors still refer to it as a fetus. Here are some links on Abortion and on the fetal development, maybe this will help you with your final decision.

I think you can abort up to 15 weeks now. Make sure you are sure you want to do it as there is no turning back, every year you will think it would be her birthday now!!! Would it of been a girl or boy. Would she have my eyes his hair my mums ears etc. It is hard. I did it 13 years ago and still regret it I have 3 more children now which makes it worse as I can see what it would of looked like as they all look the same. At 12 weeks it is formed but just needs to grow. Think about it first. Good luck.

for everyone who says it is murder to have an abortion, you have no idea of the circumstances under which this baby was concieved. i am not necessarily in favour of abortion but i would never call the woman a murderer because of the choice they are making. What about if the woman had been abused, do you think thats a woman should keep her attackers child when they will be reminded of their ordeal everytime they look at their child? It is a very emotional decision to make and someone has asked this question looking for support and advice not to be accused of a crime. In the UK i think the legal limit on abortion is 24 weeks.
Please consider all alternatives before making this difficult decision.

Fetuses as young as 11 weeks have been seen with their thumbs in their mouths. This baby started out sucking his smallest toes and gradually moves on to suck a bigger and better toe. Babies produce a motion approximating to yawning from as early as 12 weeks' pregnancy. Maybe this is nature's way of ensuring that as soon as she enters the world, she'll be able to take her first breath.
i have also given you a link with the same question other women have asked and what to do.
I am not a supporter of abortion but I am not one to judge. please make sure any discion you make is one you can live with for the rest of your life.

well it's murder so emotional issues for sure in killing an innocent little baby.

Just have the baby and give it up for adoption, there are so many people out there dying to have a little baby and can't find them because they are all being killed.

How dare you have sex, conceive a child and just because it is more convenient for you destroy it's life!

As long as you get it done at a legal clinic, there is no problems. Don't let the anti abortionists tell you otherwise. Most soaps here (Britain) and the press are hysterical over this issue and I for one am sick of it. Good luck whatever you decide.

The biggest danger is that you allow yourself to be influenced by other people.

It is YOUR choice.
