No.you can't make calls using yahoo! free of charge.Obiously you can do it after openning a account to make calls from yahoo !to mobile and landline
You can try globe 7.If you download it ,you will get 1$ for free by which you can make calls.
if you refer others persons like your friend to use it by sending an e-mail,for each download by your friends you will get 1$ /download.

Try google talk. You have to have gmail and those in your address book has to have gmail and google talk. if you have a mike you can talk by voice to talk to them.
