Several years ago when driving back from Mexico, I stopped in Lawrence, Kansas to visit my daughter who was attending KU. She and several of her friends rented a house not far from campus, it had a big backyard with a large oak tree that provided great shade in the summer. Well, her cat Guido, was out side and something spooked him up that oak tree, he spent a day up there maybe 30 feet up. The squirrels were beginning to pester him and try to drive him further up the tree. We had to rent a ladder from Home Depot and I got the opportunity to go up and get Guido. I got up to him but he wouldn't budge and the ladder was a bit shaky, I ended up having to go out in the tree after him. I grabbed him with two hands and he dug into me with all 4 paws like there was no tomorrow. Needless to say, getting back to the ladder and down was the fun part, getting Guido to let go was another matter...

Yes, I have climbed Eucalyptus trees in Australia to collect choice sprigs, I have climbed plum trees, mango trees, and more. However, I was never able to climb a coconut tree. That takes real skill. Once you can climb a 40 foot coconut tree like a monkey, you can say that you are a real climber.

I fell out of one so I suppose the answer would be YES.

I climbed the tree to watch the cricket bcause I didn't have enough money to pay to go in, I leaned over too far and fell into the cricket ground, landed on my back and taken to hospital for a check-up. The hospital gave me the all clear, I had just knocked the breath out of me and had a small bruise. I was twelve at the time and the year after I joined the cricket club and went on to play for them in later years.

A lot of 'em To Fahad : Cheetahs dont climb trees in the first place...LMAO A cheetah climbing a tree is a rare event by itself which means cheetah don't prefer to climb trees as they dont have the ability to do it. So what I mean to say there isnt anything special about a cheetah not climbing a tree to say it as a specialty or uniqueness as you'd say But pertaining to your statement(unique species of cheetah), it doesnt make a difference, there is nothing unique in what you said As if every cheetah climbs trees....the ones which climb trees are supposed to be unique

When I was younger I used to climb trees to get my fishing hooks untangled. Then it was for my younger cousins hooks. (There was quite a few trees where we went fishing.)
