U2 seem to be one of the Few Bands that want to give and have something to say. More Bands should follow suit. How is the world going to get better if no one listens to politics any more?

Not only are U2 a great rock band, but what is wrong with them using their fame for world activism? They want hunger and AIDS, and war to go away, just like most of us do. I see nothing wrong with their motives.Maybe more of us should be involved with theses causes, rather than criticize the ones who are trying to make a difference!

If you need to judge U2, then it must be on what they have achieved musically as a band - all other group member's activities should not cloud the fact that it's one of the world's most original rock groups.

A great band who've existed for years. Artists have no idea of the changes they can help bring to the world. Bands, DJ's and others are followed by people and should use the fame to produce not just hits but changes to the world. If you're making music just to make money then you should bugger off.

They used to cool but nowadays it's not really about the music for them anymore.
