The previous person who answered is correct you can't convert any song that you bought from itunes into mp3 format or any for that matter.

However if you're adding an cd for example into your library in itunes here is how to do it *Please Note* that copying cd to your itunes library could be illegal due to it breaking copyright , however just recently in the uk it's now legal to copy a cd into your ipod/itunes as long as it for you're personal use only.

1) Edit
2)Preference
3)Advanced
4)Importing

then choose the format you want all you're cd files to be coverted into from then one it will covert everything into mp3 format.

But Check that you'e not breaking Copyright Laws ! i can't stress that enough.

You can't convert iTunes to MP3. If you buy a song off iTunes, then you aren't allowed to copy it. If you converted it to an MP3 you'd break the copy protection and make it usable by any media program on any computer, so Apple wouldn't let you convert it.
