A friend of mine needs an O2 phone to put her sim card in and I was wondering if it would work in my old BT Cellnet phone (Nokia 3210). I don't know if the change was a simple name change as it is still the same network or if other things changed and it will not work. My phone is blocked to the network.

yes it will, although don't be surprised or alarmed if it says BT cellnet when you switch it on. it is because it was made before the name change, and will not affect your calls.

as long as it your old phone had the same kind of sim card, it should work! This happened to me... just be aware that a lot of things may not transfer like your phone numbers, pictures, videos, etc. Also... if your new phone had a ton of features chances are depending on how old your phone is, it most likely wont have the same things. Oh and you lost your wallpapers and ringtones too :[ Just try it! worst that could happen is it won't work!
