Go for it. It sucks to live life with any regrets. Obviously if the love between you and your husband is strong enough, you wouldn't even be thinking about this guy. But if things were to develop, don't make an *** of the guy you're married to now. End it with him before you start anything new. This is why people shouldn't rush into marriage or marry because they feel they're getting to old and they don't want to let it pass them by.

Abslolutely you are not a fool, friendships like these are very hard to find,if your motives are right in just wanting to contact him as a friend then I sure would,if you are having problems in your own relationship however, then I would be a little more cautious, you could find yourself back in the arms of your old flame

There's nothing foolish about wanting to be in touch. Being the fool is committing the act. Try your best to fight it, it could end up in so much heartache when non was intended.
I hope you can fight it - good luck

Sure, get in touch. Its okay if you are totally amoral and don't care about your marriage.
Miss his friendship? That is total crap you are telling yourself, hun. What you miss is so much more. Just asking this and thinking about contacting him is so selfish. Leave him and his wife alone.

Nothing wrong with being FRIENDS... Only trouble likely, is if the old feelings resurface and you go from friends to more...
Be careful, and make sure that your respective partners are aware of the contact and that nothing is likely to happen again...

Acting on past regrets can mushroom into even larger regrets down the road. Let it go, and be happy with what you have.
