Well in 5 minutes I have come up with:
Dutch: Einde
French: Arrêt
German: Anschlag
Greek: Στάση
Italian: Arresto
Portugese: Batente
Russian: Стоп
Parada: Parada
Swedish: stanna
Finnish: pysähtyä
Bulgarian: спирам
Slovak: zastaviť

Why is it taking the UN weeks and weeks?

The UN is like a parent that spoils their children. They slap at the hand that touches the fire over and over again, then when the kid gets burned, they don't know what the f*ck went wrong. That's what the UN does.

The UN saying "Stop" is like the French saying "attack". It's meaningless.

The UN put out the issue, and the PM of Lebanon rejected it. Simply put, apparently, the Lebanon people haven't suffered enough for him.
biggest problem, is he says, oh, we'll take care of the hezbollah....bull, they couldn't do it in three years, how do you think this pinhead will do it now?
If Israel pulls back out, Hezbollah will come back in, brag they defeated Israel, and start launching rockets again....it's the way they operate, hiding behind women and children.
Instead of asking for the UN to say stop, why not say, Go? Go ahead, start landing troops in southern Lebanon...then they can clean out any Hezbollah pockets the israelis missed, and then Israel can leave sooner.
Hey, a solution!

Tony b is right,
Israel intends to take as much of that land as possible. It does help their cause that the Hizbollah and other militant palestinian groups do bomb and kill Isrealis.
Remember this is the same UN that endorsed an Isreali state on Palestinian land in 1948(which the palestinians have not given up fighting for). The same UN that declared the war in Iraq illegal but DID nothing to stop it.
The problem is as long as people are making weapons there will be war, did you not see the US sent shipments of arms to Israel, and Blankets and Medicine to Lebanon. The US is a big bully with the CIA, the UN, and the IMF as weapons.
YOU have to say STOP and the rest of us with you.

Do your homework in the previous you bypass sounding off. The UN in fact advised Lebanon to have Hezbollocks disarm. of course they did no longer, and because they're a terrorist form employer they ultimately resorted to the form of procedures that terrorists are well-liked for. They snuck around the border and abducted a pair of Israeli infantrymen that they had to hold for ransom. (And if that wasn't sufficient, the assaults from the Hezbollocks are basically aimless assaults to kill any Israeli they could, while the Israelis are a minimum of attempting to strike out at Hezbollocks strongholds as a replace of basically random voters.) If Lebanon had any style of administration although, this probable does no longer have got here approximately and Hezbollah could be working from another territory. Oh, and did you ever supply as much as ask your self why Arab international places are blamed for terror whilst it form of feels like various style of Revolutionary Organization 17 November seems to function from interior their borders? Um...Duh.

There are no words in existence that will bring peace between Hezbollah and Israel.

Because, the United Nations Organization is not a full independent organization at this time. though it is called united nations, some countries are divided in many international issues like palestine problem, lebanan, etc. the united nations will not sayt the word stop. people around the word should force the word into the ears of the annan and bush.

The Jew-funded US government has veto power at the UN and won't allow resolutions that stop the jews from murdering people.
