I just bought a dinosaur eel and he suppose to be a bottom feeder, but he hangs around the top of the tank. He has things to hide in but he don't go to the bottom that much to hide in them.

Dinosaur eels are bichirs - a type of fish similar to lungfish. They are great escape artists and need a large covered tank. They get over 10 inches and will eat anything they can catch - not really a good community fish.

not sure i have a dragon eel and he stays in the cave unless the light is out then he will swim all over
