Paul was married for a long, long time to his first wife, Linda, and even though most fans hated her in the beginning, she turned out to be a really nice woman, and a great wife. A hard act to follow, especially for Heather, who was much younger, and already had a bad name for finding men with money.I think Paul was lonely and hoped for a second marriage just as happy, but we are rarely granted two happy occasions in one lifetime!I hope he doesn't lose too much, these women always have a baby so they can get the maximum dollar!

What went wrong ? Easy:
He is basically a weak and gullible [although quite nice] person, and easy prey for the type of Woman who's on the lookout for a rich, good looking Guy.
She is the opposite: strong, overpowering, and demanding, and simply exploited his weakness to her advantage.

who knows? the only people who know what went wrong in a marriage are the two people that were in it.
Maybe it was the fact it had only been a year since his first wife died, maybe it was the fact his children didn't like her, maybe she had issues.

There are lots of possibilities for the marriage breakdown but the important thing is that their child knows that they both still love her regardless of their breakdown.

She's a money grabbing, moaning moose and he had enough of her! He has cited her "unreasonable and argumentative" behaviour in the divorce petition which is a step further from the reason of "unreasonable" behaviour that is required

She used him. Had his kid now she's sorted for life. She is a Gold digger.

His older children were right about her all along but he was taken in attractive younger woman, he never stood a chance.

It's very sad.
