I don't think so. Ben Wallace isn't exactly an average center. Five years ago, Shaq would have probably broken Ben's arm if he tried that. Shaq has lost a step or two, but he is still the dominant center in this league because, well, there's no competition. Ben Wallace, Yao Ming and Amare Stoudemire are probably the next best options (Tim Duncan is a PF). Yao and Amare aren't quite there yet, and Wallace never will be.
When Wilt was no longer the dominant center, you had guys like Willis Reed, Walt Bellamy, and some guy named Kareem to come in and really dominate like he did. So thus, due to a lack of competition, Shaq is still easily the dominant center in the league.
Plus, he got to hold up the trophy.

No way. Are you saying that Ben Wallace is better than Shaq? In acuality, you really can't compare them. Shaq can put up 30 a game, a good game for Wallace is making half of his free throws and putting up 10. Wallace is there purely for defense. He is the best defensive Center in the game. Shaq is well-rounded.

No and the reason is simple. Shaq dominates simply by being on the court. He gets so much attention from the other team defensively that it opens things up for everyone else. Regardless of how efficiently (not if) he can score on any given player in the league, he will be a dominant player until he retires, because if teams don't pay attention to him he will score every time.

Big Ben's block, no afraid not...
Shaq's health is the only thing that could end his dominance...
He should go out on top, however I could picture him spending his last year with the Celtics, avg 3minpg, yet hits a memorable season finale, game winning 3-pointer, beating LA, marking the end of his career, but unfortunately bumps the Celts out of the following season draft lottery.

NEVER,
Shaq's been blocked by pretty much everybody. Not like that, not every day, but thats the nature of the game. You block, you get blocked, you dunk on somebody, he reverses it it your face.
We see who'll dominate next season, it'll be in the stats.
