I am sorry for you. You're just trying to know why in order to forget your real sorrow. There is no why for such a thing.Life goes on,try smiling thinking you never know what can happen to you tomorrow.

Like most people on here said, it's not about the money and if you think it is, then maybe that's what one of the problems was. People cheat when they feel stuck and feel justified to cheat, it is usually when there are communication barriers and what needs to be said cannot be said. It's not about the age difference either, or the job, it's about whatever she got from doctor guy that she couldn't get from you, not that I'm condoning such sneaky actions, adultery is wrong and it shouldn't have reached that point of no return. Only you know the details of your relationship so you will know the point that it began to go wrong. I would try to let these intense feelings go, try to learn the lesson from all of this heartache and begin to move on with your life but try not to take the bitterness through with you as that will be a heavy burden to carry throughout your life.

i cheated on my ex husband , however when i did cheat it was after years of him not comming home at night . he had been seeing many people [ i say people not just women !] and i realized it was time to throw in the towel and give up . i could not make him happy . i fell in love and left him to follow my heart . i was in such pain while with him . i didnt understand why no matter how much i gave him in the bed room , he still strayed . i know 2 wrongs dont make a right , but my ex and i are now friends . i was there for him [ on the phone] when he broke up with his last girl friend . he did the same to her . he said he dont htink he can ever be faithful .
as far as women [ i think it may be the same for men too ] i think they are looking for someone to spend time with them , someone to listen to them and how their life is .
also i can say from expirence that sometimes when a man and woman gets together they start pulling apart a bit . both are too involved in their own lives with work , bills , getting things done they dont stop to relaize they may be pushing the other away or no longer giving themself emotionally as they may have once given .
i am very sorry to hear your wife has done this .

First of all that sucks.
I would say the majority of women cheat out of boredom.
Her interest level for you is not high enough.
Divorce her. Take everything you can. If you have proof or admission of her cheating you will definitely win in court.
The vow of marriage cannot be taken lightly.
If you "forgive" her she will never really respect you anyway and end up cheating again. She is a whore. No excuses.
There are much better women out there. Just remember, women have short attention spans. Keep them interested or they will look elsewhere for excitement.

Money is not all that matters in a relationship. Were you caring towards her? Did you two share everything with each other? Communicating is key to a successful relationship. Maybe you were'nt showing your love for her and she felt insecure about it, and wanted to see if she could still get a guy to like her. Or maybe he was more romantic than you are. You have to ask her what he did for her that you didn't. However, if you were a compassionate husband who kept nothing a secret and showed your love and support, then maybe she was the one who wasn't right for you. She should have come to you to talk about it if she had a problem with your relationship, not just gone out with some other guy.
I'm sorry for you and I hope you two are able to talk it out.

He is a good talker, or he is cutter or not enough sex, some times woman can get impress for stupid things, that is what make them unique and beutiful, but seriuosly maybe you dont see her enough too much work, She can be in some kind of crisis and Dr I-take-your-girl was handy.or maybe He is just hot, some girls like older men.
Good luck partner. by the way Money is not everything that girls like.
I grow up around a lot of women.

There are a few reasons that I can think of:

--She may feel unfulfilled/unappreciated by you

--She may just like to screw around

--Maybe this doctor gives her gifts

Those are only suggestions, given from a woman's POV. I don't condone adultery, just thought you should know that. It takes two in a marriage.

Try asking her why and have a nice long talk--and hopefully you can save your marriage. :)

no justified reason---cheating never solves the problem. A man or a woman who cheats on his/her spouse has a problem with himself. Mainly self-respect. Secondly, it is a way of not facing whatever problem there is in the relationship. It is like self-medicating w/drugs---in the end, it will not cure anything.

Statistically women do not cheat for sexual reasons. Women cheat because they feel their emotional needs are not being met at home. She may be going thru a period in her life where she doesn't feel pretty or even useful to you. Good luck to you

Because your wife calls it work and you call it cheat. Learn the second vocabulary and the way of all the earth.
