Dude, thanks for reminding me about street fighter 2. wow...I used to play that for hours!

Oh man! Now I feel old. Bubble Bobble was fabulous, and Street Fighter 2 was pretty cool too. I think my personal favourite fighting game was Barbarian, where if you judged it just right there was a "decapitation stroke" - very Highlander, little spurt of neck blood and someone came along to drag the body off, kicking the head in front of them like a football!
Ah, the joys of youth.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was fun in the arcades too - heroes in a halfshell! And so was Robocop, now I come to think of it. And Tekken 2 - the one with the bear in it; a neat little twist, that.

I loved Street Fighter 2 as a kid. I was partial to Chung Li, maybe because she was the only girl. I discovered Bubble Bobble as a teen and love that as well. If there's a t-shirt ever made with that adorable little dinosaur (or whatever it is) I'm going to buy it and wear it every day. But you gotta give props to Zelda too, man.

Q-Bert! I bought an atari off of eBay a few weeks ago,just for that game! Love it! Oh and Pitfall and Pacman. But if I was trying to be cool (bit late now) I'd go with Street fighter 2...or the Mario games...ohohoh! Or Donkey Kong!

I loved Bubble Bobble!
My favorite though had to be Joust. I could play that for hours.

When I was really, really young I liked the Smurf game for Sega. Later I played [Nintendo] Kid Icarus & The Legend of Zelda, any quest games .
At the arcade It was Q-bert, then Centipede, & Joust. I usually had high score.
