Should I start to believe?

Question

Looking at our horoscopes, my friend once told me that me and my fiancee will never work out (he is capricorn and I am piesces). Two days ago we broke up. Should I believe in horoscope (I always thought it is stupid and just for making money and for people with no guidance in life.) or we were just not ment to be?

What aspects do your Sun, Moon and Ascendent make?

The 1st house is you, your personality and appearance..
The 5th house rules love affairs.
The 7th house rules partnerships.
The 8th house rules sexuality.

What planets are in the above houses and what aspects do they make? What signs are those planets in? What sign is on the cusp of those houses? What elements (fire, earth, air & water) and qualities (cardinal, fixed & mutuable) are involved?

For a female's chart you can look to the Sun and Mars and their aspects for what types of males they are attracted to.

For a male's chart you and look to the Moon and Venus and their aspects for what types of females they are attracted to.

Any sign can be with any other sign. It all depends on your whole chart, based on your DATE, PLACE, EXACT TIME of birth, not just your Sun signs.

Your whole chart then is then compared to the other person's whole chart using a technique called Synastry.

The aspects between each other's planets and points must be looked at and interpreted. The planets in each others houses must be looked at and interpreted, both ways. Affinities must be looked for. It's not simple to a layperson, but it is to people who are educated in Astrology terminology.

Sun sign horoscopes are absolutely inaccurate to determine compatibility between two people.

If your friend was telling you this only because you're a Pisces and he's a Capricorn, then that definitely shouldn't make you 100% believe in astrology. Personally, I think Pisces and Capricorn could be very compatible. If your friend is an astrologer and was looking at your complete charts . . . then maybe. Sun sign relationships (Capricorn/Pisces) just tell you what things you'll have in common or difference. There's more to a person than his/her astrological patterns. BUT there are certain signs that I would avoid having a romance with just because I know our personalities and ways of behaving will be so different. I do believe in Astrology to an extent, but I also know that some people are full of sh*t when it comes to Astrology and do use it just for making money, and people CAN rely on it too heavily when they feel they're lacking guidance (just like any Spiritual system or religion). Whatever the case, follow your gut instincts and your own observations of events.

Although I enjoy astrology, it's never 100% right, so let me play devil's advocate. Here's a question for ya. When someone reads their daily horoscope and their horoscope was right, was it right because the person did all the right things to make the horoscope correct (consciously or subconsciously), or was the prediction truly accurate with no intervention of the person who read the horoscope?

It's kinda the same way with horoscopes and relationships. My worst love match is Leo, and my boyfriend is a Leo. We've been together about 5 years, and plan on getting married. We have so many things in common it's unreal. We finish each others sentences, etc. We're just meant to be.

So I think it's about how much stock you put into it. If you truly believe that something will not work out, it probably won't, but I think that has no importance on astrological signs. I think there are certain traits that each of the signs has, but not every person born under a particular sign is going to be an exact cookie cutter mold of the next person born under the same sign.

Some people believe in horoscopes; I am not one of them.

Way back when I cared, I learned I should be compatible with Taurus and Capricorn. the worst relationships i ever had were with guys who were...a Taurus and a Capricorn. ( at different times)

I am supposed to be absolutely incompatible with Leo. But the best relationship i ever had was with a Leo.

nope. horoscopes are like a thing that comes from the devil or something... my friend's pastor said. that's like believing that a piece of paper will tell you what can happen. God already has everything planned out. everything that you'll say or do for the rest of your life. these horoscopes are fake and you shouldn't believe in them!
