What mini world cup?
If you are talkin' about icc champions trophy 2006 to be held in india it is of great importance. it is like how in football we have fifa con-federations cup and more...
it is a dress rehersal for the up-coming super-great event of cricket - the icc world cup. it helps a team to build up their players. they face various teams and it is quite of a good news.
India couldn't help it last time. besides 1983, they were almost close to it not only in 2003 but in 1996. in the 1996 event (i feel so it was in india) they had to conceed the match to the world cup winners sri lanka due to crowd problem.
india's good features (in cricket) are that they have a good thinkable captain rahul dravid who also sets examples to others in the ways of fielding & batting. not only that he gives this message 'be defensive when wanted. only go for shots when the run-rate has to be increasd not when you need just 1 run of 100 balls.'
india remains on high with greats like yuvraj singh, sachin tendlkar, md kaif, irfan pathan, ms dhoni, ajit agarkar, harbhajan singh, anil kumble, sreesanth, etc who play well for the country as team india is guided by the australian' greg chappel.

i think u r talking abt ICC tournament in which all teams participate. normally a knockout format. bcoz only it is referred 2 as mini world cup.
india will reach semi-finals of the mini world cup. then d result would depend upon the opposition.

if india can win triangular series against S.A , S.L , AUS & W.I
before mini world cup , india have high chance to win
