I don't tend to go for chick flicks that often, but they're perfect for when you're home alone with loads of choc and wine and it's cold outside and you don't want to have to use your brain.
My all time faves are stuff like Dirty Dancing, American Graffiti, Grease, Breakfast Club.
More recently City of Angels was okay and I did like the Bridget Jones films too, as well as Love Actually.
However, I would be more likely to go for something like Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Gremlins.

My favourite movies which tend to be watched with women are: Terms of Endearment, The Way We Were and 9 to 5. I think Kramer vs Kramer has become more a universal picture but I still think I appreciate it as a women seeing a man taking on a woman's role and trying to defend it. All these are great for a pack of Minterels, bottle of coke and a pack of tissues at the side when you have had a bad day at work.

Waiting to Exhale is my old time favourite. Love and Basketball did it for me too. Jason's Liric, Hitch, Dissapearing Act, Tina, are the ones that come to mind.
